do you count re-reads towards your reading goal?

I re-read books now and then, but do you still count it to your reading goal even if you’ve read the entire book before?

I have a couple I want to reread this year and I’ll definitely count it. It’s still a full book I’m reading so.. it counts lol

Personally, I am trying to expand my shelf (As for the past year ALL I have read is Rick Riordan books with the exception of a few, because woooo special interest), so I don't count them because along with reading 100 book this year, I want to well round myself, but I can see why people would!
