This is, without a doubt, one of the more original, clever, curiosity arousing, humorous promotion pieces I have seen in a very long time. I am betting it will result in a significant number of readers who won't be able to resist the impulse to confirm your claims. Have you ever considered a career as a publicist, creating copy for advertisements and commercials? It is a field that is in almost constant demand and pays very well.

I considered doing something similar, using reverse psychology, telling people not to buy my books in hopes that they would. I doubt it works. If people are like me, they’d see the ploy for what it was and never even consider clicking that lin—damn, it must have clicked itself! I didn’t do that.
