I like these books, but I'm not a Sam fan. I am hoping you are right and Sam will grow on me at some point.

I am also still not sold on Sam, but I am enjoying the secondary characters and their relationships.

I agree, Sharon. In fact, "I am not a Sam fan" is the first line of my review! I'll stick with it for another few books, but I'm not really very enthusiastic about these books.
