The font you use for print will differ depending on the size format of the book, whether Trade, Digest, or Pocket Book.

I use the Georgia font, size 11 for both. Single spacing for print (though 1 1/2 is okay too), double spacing for ebook. The larger the font size and spacing in your print books, the more it will cost; and e-readers allow the user to chose from several fonts so you should pick a common choice to make it hassle-free when you format it.

BR Kingsolver (brkingsolver) | 36 comments The recommended font is a 12 point serif font such as Times Roman. Spacing should be single with indented paragraphs for fiction. Non-fiction usually uses no indent with spacing between paragraphs. For readability, I usually use a 3 point spacing between paragraphs for fiction, but that is a personal preference.
