I actually liked him, and then he got greedy and possessive.

I honestly never thought they would work out. Every single kissing scene, or practically romance scene was focussed on touch. She didn't love him. She loved the fact she could touch him. They didn’t even get to know each other.

Yeah. I never liked Adam. First of all, is it just me who noticed how scared Adam was in that chapter when they were escaping Sector 45? And how he was desperate when he told Juliette that Warner was just tricking her and how HE loved her, and that Warner didn't. Only in that one chapter where she made out with Warner FOR ONCE, does she notice his face, expression, or eyes. Did she ever do that with Adam? No. Then Adam turned possessive like Juliette was his to keep (like an object) and protective. I've always supported Warnette and nothing has wavered that.
It was kinda cute, I guess, but I couldn't really get behind it. It just wasn't really sparking joy. It felt more like "first crush mixed with rescue romance", which is actually pretty workable on its own, but just falls horribly flat when you have someone like Warner right there.
