Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 18 comments I have a book I reviewed and didn't notice until I completed the review and noticed the gif I had placed in the review earlier before reading wasn't there. Apparently I have two editions, paperback and kindle. However I have likes in one and that gif but in the other I have status updates is there a way to combine and not lose either of those things, the likes and gif from the paper back review and the statuses from the kindle review? It's also messing with my challenge because I updated the paperback edition with the same review.

If this isn't able to be done without losing either of the info then I guess I'll keep them separated for now and assess after. Thank you.

So since the comments have been closed I will have to tell you what I did!!
I opened both reviews and I deleted the kindle review from my books, I then changed the edition of the paperback to kindle and my status updates from the kindle and my comments from Paperback merged!! I didn't know it was going to do that and I didn't merge in the duplicate books section I did it separately. Just in case someone else asks maybe it will answer their question.

lethe | 16359 comments I have no idea how to solve this and I'm not sure if this is something librarians can help with or if this should be posted in Feedback. But I'd suggest changing the topic to include 'duplicate review', because now it seems you want duplicate books to be merged.

ETA don't know if the OP will see this, but Huzzah! Glad it worked :-)

Renske | 12220 comments This is indeed not an issue for the librarians. You can try the Feedback group, but as far as I know there is no way to merge two reviews and keep all likes.

Indeed there is not.

(And for issues involving a single user's reviews or account, the Contact Us link on the Help page is better than the Feedback Group.)
