Tawnya | 4028 comments The list for the valid items tells us what TYPE of books can be on the site. What about the subject matter? I have come across full on porn before. I ignore it since that is subjective. However, what was requested from a while back is not. I found the book on Archive.org since there was no ISBN. That region doesn't seem to have them a good bit of the time. The title was also on WorldCat, but it didn't translate the page like normal, so I couldn't verify which edition I wanted. I was quite happy to see it on Archive. Using Google translate I was able to verify it was the correct book. It is a book about police statics and crime scenes. The first pages didn't give me the info I wanted, so I turned to the back. That was when I had pictures of murder victims on my screen. I am not sure why a book like this would be available to the public. I can see it being for internal use for the police and the medical examiner’s office.
My question is whether this would violate policy.

Hi Tawnya. We'd need to take a closer look at these records to see if they meet our catalog standards. Please send links to us via the Contact Us Form, the relevant team will investigate. Thank you!
