I didn't start listening to her until early 2024. A few months before ttpd came out

🩵/💜💜 shake it off was my fav song for like 7 years, then I got into different music but I stopped around Beth beginning of the pandemic but I got back into her around teh beginning of the eras tour and never looked back
i loved shake it off when it came out in 2014 because it was played at every single birthday party but i didnt start listening to my own music until around 2020 and then i slowly started liking taylor swift and olivia rodrigo through random music playlists i found on BBC sounds and i became a swiftie just as midnights was released so about 2 years nowTTPD was the first album i actually stayed up for the release of through because i wasn't really prepared to go to school on no sleep because the album drops at 5 am
ok but like hot take, swifties that became swifties in the og 1989 era are the equivalent to new swifties now
Guys I have the most awesome swiftie story ever: I was at a wedding and they were playing the music videos on a big screen in front of the dance floor. I remember love story coming on, I had never heard it before. As soon as the video started I stopped dancing and fell into a trance. Who was this beautiful girl with the beautiful voice and beautiful lyrics? As soon as it was done I looked it up and knew right away that I was going to be a swiftie... That was 4 years ago, and I still am just as in love with her.
I always loved Taylor but I became a huge fan when folklore come out and never looked back, I truly believe she’s a lyrical genius and people who hate on her music aren’t truly listening. Her lyrics resonated with me so much she’s a true artist and even if I wasn’t a fan I would be able to see why she has such a huge fandom.
I’ve loved taylor since I can remember but I became a Swiftie at the age of 13 before Red TV came out
I started listening to Taylor Swift (not including songs like shake it off which were my entire childhood and every birthday party you went to) in around fearless or red TV but i became a swiftie when midnights came out (i realised i was a swiftie the day after it came out)
Was a Swiftie when rep came out, then I stopped listening to her after Lover. I forgot about her, then I listened to her again when Midnights came out got re-obsessed. :)
I became a swiftie around february or march of 2023 (Midnights era💙) when I randomly remembered the existence of Shake It Off and then listened to more of her songs (and I’m so glad I did) :)
a few months before may 21st 2023, which was my eras tour date!!! idk what album that was, please educate me!
Hii everyone¨̮ if people/society have ever made you feel like you have to hide what kind of music you enjoy, please help me out!! i’m doing some research for an article i’m writing for school about the influence of Spotify Wrapped on people’s (listening) behaviour. You would help me out enormously by filling in this short (anonymous) survey! Also if you know people who are (or have been) occupied with their Spotify Wrapped outcome, or even if you’ve had conversations with people about it please send it to them! It would help me out so much 😇🥰Thank you 🫶🏼🫶🏼
