The "Krilon" trilogy, written by Swedish Nobel laureate Eyvind Johnson (1900-1976; Nobel laureate in 1974), consists of Grupp Krilon ("Group Krilon", 1941), Krilons resa ("Krilon's journey", 1942) and Krilon själv ("Krilon himself", 1943). Written and published during World War II, it is both realistic and allegoric, criticizing the Swedish acquiescence during World War II as well as warning against totalitarian systems of governance.

The first part of the trilogy was republished in paperback form in 2018 (ISBN: 9789174296884), but all three parts were also published as e-books and should be added to Goodreads.
