I don't know if you would include this, but this book originally had the title in ALLCAPS. it would be awesome if this could be changed as ALLCAPS is always against policy.

Another common import issue - when an edition is listed on a Local Amazon Store, the data imported to Goodreads choses the faulty/missing data found on Amazon.com.

Example from Feb 2024, resulting in:
- the author name to be imported as 'unknown'
- wrong title
- the edition pub date is blank
- the translator name is missing

Amazon catalog incorrectly flagged this book as Deleted. It is an active Hardcover and is publishing next month. I changed it back to Public for now.

One more example of the issue reported in msg #55, wrong data imported when the listing is on a Local Amazon Store. Example was imported March 2024.

Regarding the import feed incorrectly changing book records to Invalid, is there any chance the Edit Changelog activity could be programmed to include these bot edits, that would be immensly helpful in improving Librarians ability to spot & find our way (with the help of the BookID in the log) to book records that need to be returned to Public status.

Right now these 'bot sets to Invalid - human returns to Public' edits aren't included as a changelog entry at all.

All Italian editions imports since at least a year have the same problem as this

- No cover is imported
- the ebook version isbn 10 and 13 are imported together with the kindle asin and Goodreads librarians have to be signalled to divide the two edition
- they are imported with the (Italian edition) useless note
- they are imported ad stand alone and not merged with their other languages versions (and in the case of prolific authors and different translated titles the merging is long and tedious)

Hi annob (and everyone). Please let me know if you see any future incidents where the import changing the book status isn't reflected in the log. This should be fixed for any future changes, e.g: https://www.goodreads.com/book/edits/...

Let me know if I've misunderstood and that isn't the change you were requesting.

I was so happy to see this fix, but when I try to trigger it, the log remain as blank as before.

New example where I just now changed this edition back to Public status. You can see my user name in the data table of the log (the classification field), but not as a entry resembling your example:

I have noticed this for many German editions as well and sometimes also (Kindle edition) is added to the title. As this has been going on for quite some time already (>1 year), I am wondering, if this is intentionally (although according to the Librarian Manual it is not how it should be done)?

Just wondering about the status of the error that causes words with colons to be deleted when the description is imported. Any progress on fixing that? I manually fix 6-8 descriptions every week.
