The Wicked King
The Queen of Nothing
Death’s Obsession
Icebreaker
Digital Fortress

The Hild sequence is entirely fictional, except that she actually lived, in the 7th century. She's the king's seer at age 10, a lord in her own right by 18, married to her love (and pregnant by)--her half-brother, which must remain secret or his life is forfeit, as he is actually next in line to be over-king. (HE doesn't even know.) She's the quintessential assassin and so tall she towers over everybody, including her brother. After she slaughters bandits who've terrified village after village, she becomes the Butcher-Bird.
AWESOME STUFF! Highly recommend. Don't get caught up in counting your books--you could read 300 middle school books and not advance at all. Look for worthy reads, instead.

I don't watch TV or work. I don't have kids, and I have illnesses so can't get out much. I read 8 books at a time. My goal this year is to read 300. I read 277 last year.

and counting!
There was a period of time where I didn’t read. i started reading again last year. I’m enjoying it again.
I am currently on medical leave from work and have plenty of time to read. I will be returning to work soon so I am reading as many books as I can before then.
I read ebooks and physical books. I crochet while listening to audiobooks.

Im gonna wait till Thursday to start another to start off February.
