upwards of 10? you guys are annoyingly impressive - someone said they read 100 pgs an hour???????? EXCUSE ME???
My purpose in reading is to enjoy it, savor it. I do not think about how many books I am reading in a month, or in a year. I pay no attention to how fast or how many pages I am reading in an hour. When you are eating a dessert do you hork it down or do you savor it? The same applies to any leisurely activity that gives us joy. When you go out to watch a movie you love, do you want it to be over quickly?
Well, that is my excuse for reading slow anyways :)
I suspect that I am at around 20 but I have never kept count.
160 starting 161 now - and for once mostly books I haven't read before! my new year's resolution was to order books from book shops rather than online... to reduce the book buying - that has not happened.

that is a superpower wow! I can read 40 pager per hour and I thought that was fast hahaha
I've read 23 books so far, I'm becoming much faster than last year and I enjoy reading so much more! can't wait to read so many more adventures!!
I have read 95 books this year. I focused my reading on stories regarding the Holocaust. Even though the stories have been fiction, they are based on true events and genuine characters. I would recommend All the Light we can see.
Pretty sure I'm in the 20s also but haven't kept count.

68 books in total. It is actualized today.
I've gotten 51, and I enjoy having 5 book differences between my last goal and my current goal. It gives me a nice sense of achievement. Ya'll should try it!!!
Just finished my 19th! My goal is 30 (:
This year I´ve read 24 books, but I don't have a goal, I just read what I see, and the truth is that it stresses me out less and helps me read more
