[BWF] Fatal Inheritance by Rachel Rhys – 4 Stars

This was an interesting historical mystery set in France in 1948, with a twist at the end that I did not at all see coming. Eve Forrester is named in the will of a wealthy stranger she has never heard of, but to find out what it is she has inherited, she needs to travel to the French Riviera. Whilst there, she finds out she has been left a share in a luxury villa, although she is no closer to understanding why. Instead of returning home to her loveless marriage, Eve determines to remain in France to try to uncover they mystery. There was a range of characters and a glamourous setting, and I liked seeing Eve grow in confidence as the book went on. The intrigue and family drama kept my attention, and I will definitely be reading more from this author.
