I'm a little too nice with my rating system! haha. I need to be more picky.
1 star- DNF
2 stars- I found myself falling asleep in some parts
3 stars- I like the story, but the characters drove me nuts or vice versa.
4 stars- it was good. probably wouldn't read again
5 stars- I probably cried or gasped at least 20 times

2- didn’t like, would not recommend, probably had a hard time finishing
3- I liked the book or idea but either something was missing or I didn’t vibe with something (character, storyline, world building, etc)
4- loved it, would recommend, would probably read again
5- amazing spectacular, probably cried laughed and couldn’t put it down, will tell everyone in earshot about this book

2 - struggled to get through/ was boring or had very poor execution
3 - it was just okay, nothing special about it
