I think personally in the first book Jacks wanna appear like a jerk to eva to keep her away coz of his curse and all but i dont think love is gonna lose :)

This series was so good
I really enjoyed getting back to the Caraval world
I love Stephanie’s writing
Jacks is my favorite character and him getting finally a love story is heartwarming
I really liked Evangeline too and the other characters
I love everything that Stephanie Garber writes

I really liked the world building in this book because this book truly feels like I'm visualizing characters from a fairytale. I enjoyed the interactions between Jacks and Evangeline. It may be an unpopular opinion, but I actually enjoyed this more than the Caraval series (I may attempt re-reading them in the future).

I agree, I liked this trilogy more than the Caraval one. Such an interesting journey. I've read the trilogy so I won't talk too much about it. you're just in for a treat!

okay… i’m ngl that i didn’t particularly LOVE once upon a broken heart (only the first one) because i felt like everything that it mentioned on the back of the book happened in the first 7 chapters and then it was like a whole new book. jacks didn’t really appeal to me as much as others, i kind of felt like he was just meh. i did make the mistake of reading it before i finished the caraval series but after finishing the caraval series, i definitely fell in love with jacks. i kind of felt a bit bad for him, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that he’s a horrible person 😬
