A good Collins? Now you have me curious, Katie. :)

In 1619, Altha is a young healer in a time when women healers were often viewed with suspicion or actively targeted as witches. She is standing accused of causing the death of a local farmer who was trampled to death by his herd of cows.
In 1942, Violet has always been in tune with the natural world around her and dreams of exploring the world and studying its creatures. However, she has been restricted to the family estate her entire life and despairs she will ever break free of her father's controlling influence.
In 2019, Kate is fleeing an abusive relationship before the net around her tightens further. She takes refuge in a cottage that was left to her by a great-aunt she barely knew. Once within the walls of the cottage she begins to face her past and learn about a family secret.
The stories of these three women is beautifully woven together. 4*
