Is it better to read TOG first or ACOTAR?

I really want to get into the Sara J Mass universe but idk where to start, which one is easier?

I read ToG first then ACOTAR

A lot of people start with ACOTAR! it’s only 5 books compared to 8 from TOG, so a little less intimidating and a good intro to her writing style and world. If you like more spicy romance than ACOTAR is a good start, if you prefer more traditional fantasy with romance but not as much spice you could start with TOG. ◡̈

I started with ACOTAR, then TOG, then CC. I thought it was a great way to go because ACOTAR introduced me to her writing style and the series wasn’t too long. Also when reading TOG second I was able to link a few things between SJMs word building in the two series. However you can read either series first and be just fine! I do recommend CC as the last series because the world building in that book is a lot more intricate in my opinion, and got a little harder to follow at times but nothing super difficult. I read ACOTAR first, then TOG and now CC. Didn't even know that TOG existed when I started ACOTAR a few years ago, but reading it in that order was pretty nice. ACOTAR is not that long, but I went through TOG faster tho.
