Finishing up my current book. Looking forward to starting this next weekend 🐢

Finished last night to realise that I had enjoyed the book more and more as it went along. Despite the old trope of 'Detective struggling with personal issues' the plot developed very nicely. Good sense of place and atmosphere, with attitudes towards various key players shifting as more was discovered about them.

I'll give it a high-for-me 3.5. :)
