If you check my book list under "nature-outdoors" you will find quite a few books that may interest you."


I did and the first four titles I searched for were not available at our huge public library, but I finally found two books and requested them.
BTW I've read the Joan Andersen book, but was not thrilled with it.
I missed the Appalachian autobiography "Picknick with Bears" by Bill Bryson. I can highly recommend it. The movie based on the book (with Robert Redford and Nick Nolte as Katz) is funny, too.
