From the Heart of Carolyn Miller: As a Christian, I love to read and write books that read as realistic, relatable, and most of all, point to the hope and life and peace that I have found in knowing Jesus Christ.
Numbers of my historical and contemporary books have involved Christian characters working through the challenges of what it means to be a believer, while others have demonstrated characters coming to find that faith for themselves.
I LOVE writing salvation scenes, and recommitment scenes, and ... all the scenes, really! And because life isn't 'Hallmark' easy, in several books I have also touched on some aspects of the more grittier side of life, which has seen characters forced to dig deep into what trusting God really means.
I hope that people who think reading a romance book means it's automatically light and fluffy will be forced to think again when they read one of mine, and find the hope, peace and love that’s ultimately found through relationship with God.
Some of my novels that you might enjoy that best exemplifies Philippians 4:8 and Galatians 5:22-23: The Elusive Miss Ellison, Dusk's Darkest Shores, The Breakup Project, Hearts and Goals, and Muskoka Spotlight.
Please pray that I would balance being a wife and mum with writing and releasing my books and also organising a writers conference here in Australia and that the conference preparation goes smoothly and doesn’t eat into my writing time too much.

Story is powerful. In fact, the entire Bible is one BIG story about God and His beautiful rescue mission of His people — and, in a small way, I get to create-in-miniature that same rescue mission through my stories.
Sometimes those story-notes are quiet whispers of God's grace and sometimes they're a clarion call, and I'm so glad I get to create the one that matches the story I'm writing.
It's a humbling opportunity to write stories that show in an organic way how the gospel of Christ transforms, renews, gives hope, provides strength, offers comfort, and lavishes love on a world in desperate need of a Savior.
Some of my novels that you might enjoy that best exemplifies Philippians 4:8 and Galatians 5:22-23:
Laurel's Dream
The Heart of the Mountains
The Mistletoe Countess
Just the Way You Are
A Twist of Faith
Please pray that God will help me to continue to have good story ideas and write so it glorifies him, whether the spiritual thread is overt or covert.

Dear Community Group Members/Authors/Readers,
I hope this message finds you well. I am excited to share with you my recently published book, "It's Not God, It's You!" which I believe holds transformative insights for every Christian.
In this book, I delve into the notion that God empowers us with agency and responsibility, challenging the perception that every life event is solely orchestrated by divine intervention. Through personal anecdotes, reflections, and biblical wisdom, I invite readers to explore the power of self-awareness, faith, and personal responsibility in shaping our lives.
I would be honored if you could take the time to read my book and share your thoughts and reflections. Your honest reviews and feedback are invaluable and will greatly contribute to the ongoing conversation within our community.
You can find the book on Goodreads for more information and to leave your review: [Link to Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Thank you for considering my invitation, and I look forward to engaging with you and hearing your insights on "It's Not God, It's You!"

From the Heart of Lynnette Bonner:
I believe that story is a powerful way to share Truth. Jesus uses parables often to get a point across. While Christian fiction might not be as pointed or straight-shooting, it can be a memorable way to make people think about a biblical concept.
As a Christian who longs for others to know Jesus and love Him, I hope that my stories can take readers one or two stepping stones down the path to knowing Him better.
In my books, you’ll find spellbinding historical adventures full of heart-pounding romance that are uplifting, clean, and wholesome. There are never love scenes or cussing, but always an inspirational thread that’s drawn from a Bible verse.
Some of my novels that you might enjoy that best exemplifies Philippians 4:8 and Galatians 5:22-23:
Not a Sparrow Falls
Rocky Mountain Oasis
On the Wings of a Whisper—Sonnets of the Spice Isle, the Complete Series
Please pray for Lynnette as she navigates balancing life with trying to write compelling stories that share the gospel of Truth.

Treasures of the Lochs is suspenseful Young-Adult Christian fiction, involving a modern-day treasure hunt in Scotland, with a bit of supernatural thrown in. The target audience is teenage and above (some parts would be too intense for younger readers).
The novel crosses a few different genres, including Christian Fantasy, Magical Realism (Fantasy), and Suspense. It also hit Amazon#1 New Release for Christian Fantasy. I hope you will check it out. To learn more, please visit www.hunterwhiteauthor.com
From the Heart of Ivy Emerson:
I have a deep passion for writing books with distinct Christian themes because my faith in Jesus profoundly influences every aspect of my life. Connecting with my Creator, being forgiven, being restored, knowing my purpose... it’s everything.
Naturally, something so important to me will overflow into my writing. However, this doesn’t imply my work is laden with preachy content; rather, it means there are gentle Christian themes woven into my romance stories.
I hope that when you read my books you will be able to enjoy a sweet, swoony romance novel and be encouraged to reflect upon and ponder your relationship with your God...
Some of my novels (and others) that you might enjoy that best exemplifies Philippians 4:8 and Galatians 5:22-23:
Kayak Girl: A closed-door contemporary romance novel
Borrowed Sunshine: A closed-door grumpy/sunshine romance novel
A Light on the Hill
Then There Was You
Boundless
Please pray that God would be glorified through the writing and reading of my books. Please pray that God continues to give me the grace, courage, and ability to keep writing.

God's love for us is the greatest romance ever written! That He would send His Son to die to save sinners like me still wrecks me.
So I write Christian romance, trying to reflect some aspect or element of God’s love, reminding readers that His perfect love and presence are available to all who trust in Him.
This is my prayer for readers: Lord, please bless each reader who is seeking You. Help them to connect with the right books that will declare Your incredible love for them. Draw near to those facing heartbreak and trials. And whisper reminders of Your promises of hope and peace through stories and characters that inspire and delight.
Some of my novels that you might enjoy that best exemplifies Philippians 4:8 and Galatians 5:22-23:
📘 The Red Door Inn
📘 A Glitter of Gold
📘Beyond the Tides
📘The Last Way Home
📘Summer in the Spotlight
Please pray for me: I have a book due May 1, and I’m praying that God will give me the words to write that will draw readers closer to Him. I need wisdom and clarity as I pull the storylines together. And with a new release in September 2024, I’m praying that my book will land in the right hands to encourage and inspire readers.

I believe it’s good to have “clean” entertainment, but it’s best to have faith-focused entertainment. As a reader, there’s nothing like the completeness that comes from reading a Christian novel.
While reading clean novels (books without filth but also without religion) I may not notice what’s missing. But as soon as I pick up a Christian book, I’m reminded of how much richer faith-based entertainment is.
As a writer, it is both an honor and a drive to offer edifying entertainment. I want my readers to enjoy the plot and cozy setting, but I long for them to be edified and brought closer to Christ through the story.
Our mind is a constant battlefield, so it matters what we feed it through the books we read as well as the thoughts we allow ourselves to mull over.
As an author, I want to offer something more than safe, I want to offer something that tells the reader that Christ is the answer regardless of the problem. So all of my books are filtered through the concept of centering your thoughts back on Christ.
Some of my novels (and others) that you might enjoy that best exemplifies Philippians 4:8 and Galatians 5:22-23:
📘Where Can I Flee
📘If Only It were Yesterday
📘Yesterday's Christmas
📘Project Scrooge
📘 Falling Between the Pages
Please pray for the Lord to bless my time and efforts, to be inspired and to lean on Him as I work, to be balanced in writing and home life, and to protect my heart from bitter jealousy.

“Clearly Christian” books are not only wholesome, clean, and inspirational - but share a distinct message of faith that uplifts Christ. His presence is interwoven in the lives of the characters. His love is spread throughout the plot. His truths
resound the book’s theme. Most of all, “Clearly Christian” books honor our Savior. I’m grateful for a community of both readers and writers who make this kind of fiction possible.

Philippians 4:8 & Galatians 5:22-23 are among my favorite Scriptures, and ones I rely upon daily and in my writing mission. The reason these are so important to me in both my personal life and my writing are because these are transformational Scriptures for the battleground of the mind, heart, and soul to live a Christ-centered life.
We are in a very real spiritual war in this life, and these Scriptures are integral to how we win the war, by being renewed daily and transformed through the Word and keeping our mind focused on noble, good, and pure things. I love to put like-minded concepts, Scriptures, themes, and even mentions of things in my books that are noble, lovely, pure, excellent, good, true, right, and admirable.
My ultimate hope is that readers will draw encouragement from my stories which will help them on their journey of life, inspiring them to continue to draw close to Jesus and His Word on a daily basis. Sometimes my characters are rich in Christ or somewhere on the path to finding the Lord and redemption. They’ll also find characters who antagonize them, just like we find in real life situations.
Several of my novels that you might enjoy that best exemplifies Philippians 4:8 and Galatians 5:22-23:
📘 A Summer at Sagamore
📘 The Gardener's Daughter
📘 Canterbury Bells
📘 The Prince's PIer
📘 Cherry Crossing
📘 Sparrow's Hope
📘 [[book:Silver Mountain,|62009741]
Prayer Request: An abundance of good health, supernatural protection, and prosperity to flow along with every aspect of my life to operate smoothly so I can continue to focus on the writing, and for the Lord to open doors for more readers to find my books. Please also pray for great editors, minimal mistakes, and for exceptional creativity to flow to help me accurately convey the
redeeming power of Jesus to readers, and for favorable reviews.

For me, writing Clearly Christian books means being bold about including elements of the Gospel within the story, because that's the most important thing I can do as a writer. Sure, it's fun to be able to provide entertainment to readers for a moment, but the real joy and privilege is in sharing truths that can change and impact lives for eternity.

Faith is a major part of our lives, so it's natural that it is a major part of our fiction. Leaving God out of the story is a little like painting a beautiful scene but leaving all the color out of the paint. Our faith in our Savior brings vibrancy, depth, and life to any book.

My historical romances often have the theme of overcoming bitterness and troubles from the past and beginning anew. Such things are truly only possible
with the help of God.
Luke 1:37 (Amplified Bible) says: “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.”
Some of my novels that you might enjoy that best exemplifies Philippians 4:8 and Galatians 5:22-23:
📘 The Captain's Daughter
📘 The Heart's Appeal
📘 The Artful Match
The series follows three sisters raised in George Muller’s Bristol orphanage, where faith in God’s provision was paramount. As adults in London, their trust in God is tested and strengthened through life's challenges, reminding them of Biblical truths like Philippians 4:6. Despite unexpected turns, each finds a more fulfilling new beginning. Christian Market praised the trilogy as “Sweet romance that encourages readers to trust in God’s love and provision for them.”
Jennifer's Prayer Request: This is a year of new beginnings for me. I’m starting a new series without a clear path yet as to who the publisher will be. I’m grateful for prayers that God will show me the best path forward and that I can continue to share my stories with readers.

First, I want to do everything to the best of my ability for the glory of God.
Second, I was challenged by a dear friend to write a purpose statement for my ministry at the very beginning. That purpose statement is two fold: (1) to point people to the Truth (Jesus); and (2) to challenge the believer in his/her walk with Christ. No matter what I write, my goal is to fulfill both of those. After EMHE and all the national TV stuff, I received phone calls from all the big publishers wanting me to tell our story. But since they were all secular, they all basically asked me to play down my faith--in essence to take God out of the story. I told them all no because God IS the story.

Since I consider writing a gift and the giver, God, I don't take it lightly. Given that, writing becomes more than a profession and far more than a hobby. Writing fiction is ministry. We live in a dark, fallen world and if we can shine some light on the hope we have in Christ, that's all that truly matters both now & eternally. Each of us who know the Lord have a responsibility to steward whatever gifts we've been given. Yours is sharing about Clearly Christian books, a vital part of that hope-filled realm. Mine is writing them. It's a blessed pairing! And then readers who read them are another gift & part of that hope and light to others!
