David | 2 comments All these listings are for the same edition ("expanded edition") of the same book:

David Raz (davidraz) | 13062 comments The first is a paperback and the second is a Kindle. Surely you are not asking us to delete (=merge) one of them.
I combined them instead.
The third is an invalid entry, so no merge was needed either.

For future reference, combining and setting edition status do not necessitate a superlibrarian. Please post future requests in the "Book & Author Page Issues" folder.

David | 2 comments Okay. I had no idea how to do this, and the process isn't described in any obvious place on the Goodreads site (e.g., there is no "report a duplicate" button, and searches for this turn up nothing other than "post on the librarians forum"). So I posted in an area where other people were posting about duplicates.

You also have a unique definition of "merge" (in software development merging will preserve the unique aspects of both inputs), so thanks for letting me know how Goodreads defines that term.

David Raz (davidraz) | 13062 comments There is no inherent expectation that readers know the librarian manual by heart. In general, posting in this folder is something done by other librarians or by readers who are familiar with the manual.
