Has anyone here read Patrick Ness' books??

I honestly loved the Chaos Walking series

I read The Knife of Never Letting Go a few years ago and really enjoyed it and only recently I managed to find copies of The Ask and the Answer and Monsters of Men so I will finally be able to complete the original trilogy. I also read The Crane Wife but was less impressed. It's based on a Japanese folk tale and for me it didn't really work in a modern setting.
