Vicki, I believe it was stated early on that Charlie's 35. And I think Emma is 28? Not stated but it's been 10 years since her father's accident and she had just graduated high school, I think. So she could be 27-29.

He treated Emma like shit 3/4 of the book and then used money to get Emma back (Jack (Jake Singleton 🤣) to the hospital, VIP room, high-quality lunches). (hide spoiler)] I did like that a character from The Bodyguard was a side character. That was cute to know they were in the same time and place. I did like Emma's dad. Sylvie I didn't love.
