I really struggled to finish it. Way too much fan service, it didn't feel genuine.

Also the midnight library. It was brilliant, but the ending just seemed to go on forever, to tie up every single loose end. It felt like he was trying really hard to hit a word count

it’s a really popular book on tiktok but I just felt like i had to force myself to finish it. it’s the cruel prince, i LOVE fantasy but for some reason this world didn’t really appeal to me.
