A court of thorns and roses series, read it almost 10 times and it set my new normal for sure, I will read it till I die...

The Vegetarian. I read it some years ago and I still think about it weekly. It was so… good isn’t the right word because I hated it as a 17 year old, but it really was good. There’s no other way to describe it - it was captivating, almost soul sucking, and I hadn’t read a book with that much influence before. Not even A Little Life has competed with The Vegetarian.

The first 2 books from the series Cemetery of the forgotten books (idk if that's how it's called in English) by Carlos Ruiz Zafón (waiting to buy the 3rd book)

Heartless. So much could’ve on been done differently from all sides. It’s truly heartbreaking.
There are several books that stick with me, but "The Book of Joshua 1: Trust" by Iris Bolling, "Fire ad Desire" by Brenda Jackson, and "A Silken Tread" by Brenda Jackson are forever engraved in my head because each contain a character whose betrayal of the main character was beyond despicable and totally unforgivable.
the Invisible Life of Addie Larue. I wish I could read it again for the first time. i don't see it on lists much, so I'm guessing most feel "meh" about it. I honestly savored that book. I loved it so much I'd read the chapters a couple times before I moved on & intentionally drug it out.
Hopeless by Colleen Hoover. Read this in one night sobbing in the dark underneath a sheet with my flashlight at summer camp.
This might be an unpopular opinion but the From Blood and Ash series is one I will never forget! Also anything by Sarah J. Maas <3

Ella Enchanted!!! I’m so glad someone else mentioned that one. It’s my childhood favorite. Heck it’s my all time favorite. I’ve read it maybe 30 times. But the movie is awful, I had to stop it midway through.
