Freddie is extremely unhappy about his breakup with Elin. Sam encourages him to reach out to her, tell her his feelings and invite her to the wedding. Were you surprised at her advice given her feelings about Elin or did you expect as much given her feelings about Freddie?

Yes, I was surprised by Sam's advice to Freddie, but it was really a good suggestion for a way to get around an absolute standoff with Elin. Saved face for both.

I was a little surprised, but Sam knows you love who you love. Freddy would be miserable without Elin Sam wants her friends happy.

I am happy she gave Freddie that advice even though she does not like Elin. I think she believes you have to live in the moment and do what makes you happy.

It seems that this is one area where Sam is growing. She sees how unhappy Freddie is without Elin and gives him some good advice.

I wasn't surprised. Even though Sam doesn't particularly like Elin, Freddie is over the moon for her. Freddie is a big boy, and he has to lead his life in a way that makes him happy and right now Elin makes him happy.

Sam is extremely loyal to her team and friends. She gave Freddie the advice she felt he needed as he was just miserable. Maybe she saw that his feelings ran deeper than sex and reacted accordingly.
