When did you want to read it? I'm belatedly buddy reading By Any Other Name and on-time buddy reading The Full Moon Coffee Shop so I could realistically start probably Aug 17.

Does anyone else have The Queens of Crime by Marie Benedict The Queens of Crime? I'm thinking about grabbing it. It is read now today. I really liked Marie Benedict's prior work.

message 189: by Elyse (new)

Shruti morethanmylupus (morethanmylupus) | 1111 comments The Mystery of Mrs. Christie

Shruti morethanmylupus wrote: "The Mystery of Mrs. Christie"

I was wondering if that was the one. I enjoyed it, but that was my least favorite book of hers so far. I've only read that one, The Other Einstein, and The Personal Librarian. The Agatha Christie connection in The Queens of Crime is what made me hesitate, but it does seem like a different kind of story.

@Dr. B - It was good in some ways and not others. I was ready for it to be done when I finished it. I think I gave it 3 stars. It should be really good for a discussion.

Elyse - I started a thread for The Queens of Crime. It doesn't publish until February, so I figured it would be a while before we start. Let me know if there is a better time for you. Thread is here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Hi Dr. B! I'm doing well, just busy taking care of my hubby after a knee surgery. I hope you are well too!

Unfortunately, I don't have any of those. I was declined for We All Live Here, but I entered a giveaway for it and if the audio is available before you read it I'll request that. Just not there yet.

It's been pretty quiet around here. I have a few widget offers I need to post to see if anyone has them.

message 200: by Trisha (new)

Trisha | 1574 comments Hey hey!! I'm not sure about everyone else, but my request finger has been slowed and now silenced for the next 2 months! I'm working to try to get all my backlog of Netgalley done - not all all, but all of my oldest (about 50 books).
THEN I'll work on the next layer of oldest - so I'm out for just a bit longer on any buddy reads - once the new year starts, I'll be in!
