I thought she kept to the "letter" of Nick's request, but violated the "spirit" of it. Sometimes Sam seems awfully close to the line that says TSTL. I know it's her job, and it's dangerous.... but....
once again Sam just does thing's on her own even after talking it through with Nick. I don't agree with this side of hers, selfish in a way and not taking into account Nick's feelings.
I agree with Charlene. After promising Nick, Sam justifies going after Gardner by not bringing up the rape case. She knows that is not what he meant.
This is exactly why I dislike Sam. She knew what Nick was asking her to promise but manipulated the situation to get what she wanted. She is selfish and dishonest, which puts a damper on the romance as Nick is a wonderful man and deserves better.
I agree with everyone. It also shows how little faith Sam has in her team. She believes that only she can get the job done. She really lucked out that she only got a concussion and didn't end up dead.
Because she knew the spirit of the request, Sam didn’t act in good faith. I was almost angry at how she justified her actions.
