It's a new year, and we've got a whole new list of challenge categories for you to complete! What's the first book you plan to read for the challenge? And what category does it fulfill?

Since December, I've been working through a Regency murder mystery series by Andrea Penrose called Wrexford and Sloane. They are a lot of fun, and the series titles are formatted such that there is a location listed in the title! They're all London neighborhoods. I've actually been reading the ebooks versions through the library and am on book 4 :)
Yay!! I'm so excited this is back this year and I love the categories. I think the first book I'm going to read for the challenge will be The Art Forger by Barbara A. Shapiro for the "that takes place in New England" category (a category I'm super excited about, as someone who went to college in Boston)
I'm off to a slow start. Two books down Soil: The Story of a Black Mother's Garden by Camille Dungy (memoir) and Verity by Colleen Hoover (won an award in the past five years). I'm currently working on Demon Copperhead by Kingsolver (own but have not read yet). It's a looooooong one.
