Allison is written as the female version of brilliant computer geek and maybe if a male character had said the same we would take it in stride...
I believe that Allison is confident in her skills and compared to her competition, she knows she is better. I call it self confidence so I guess that is ego.
I agree...l see it as being extremely confident in her own skills. I actually like that about her and I like that for once it's a woman who's the brilliant computer geek not a man. I love the scenes where they guys are so blinded by her beauty that they can't see her as a tech expert ... until she's already solved the issue at hand. Then they are flabbergasted. lol
I loved that scene too! Her supreme confidence in her skills in neither ego nor arrogance, it is simply fact. She has outwitted a lot of hackers and her skills have never been defeated.
