Again, the fact that worldcat and Amazon don't recognize an ISBN is meaningless. I have in my possession many hundreds of books with ISBN which neither of these two sources recognize.
The fact that the ISBN is invalid or that it is an obvious ISBN13 that was truncated is the crucial fact.
