As a friend, Sam is entitled to her opinion, just like Freddy was entitled to his about Her relationship with Nick. Freddie's mom is also entitled to express her opinion, but she needs to tread carefully. Freddie is a big boy and entitled to "do" whoever he wants, but he needs to grew a thicker skin.
Yes, they are entitled to their opinions but they are not entitled to interfere. As Anita, Freddie is a big boy and he can make his own decisions.
I agree with all of you. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but they don't have a right to ruin a relationship because they don't like s/he. In my opinion, that is what Sam and Freddy's mother are trying to do.
They definitely have a right to an opinion because of their close relationship with Freddie. That said, once they’ve voiced it, they need to respect his choices unless something arises that he should know about. Otherwise, zip it. The quickest way to push someone closer in a relationship is to interfere.
