I started reading the Masie Dobbs series several years ago this month's tag was a great opportunity to read the next book. As usual, i enjoyed this book.

This book is set a few years before the beginning of WWII. Masie is in London after traveling to Spain and Gibraltar following the death of her husband. Masie is working with the British Secret Service to get a British citizen out of Dachau. She also must find the woman who was somewhat responsible for the death of her husband a few years back.

I forget how much I like this series until I read the next book in the list. Well written and there are not a lot of fiction books that take place in this time period.

I'm glad you enjoyed this one. It is one of my favourite series, and I hope that the final book in this series due to be published this year ties up all of the strands that have been running throughout the books.
