This folder is for buddy reads!
There are so many great african reads, but so little time, and sometimes availability is not great - so maybe you just want to read that book, that's been on your TBR forever, or the new hot release, or some more non-fiction.
This is the place to maybe find someone else who wants to read the same book - and feel free to add a new thread about your read in this folder, so others can join you - or at least be inspired.
Happy (buddy) reading!

PS:
Authors!
If you would like to promote your book, give away copies or otherwise advertise your books please do so in this folder - selfpromotion in other places will be deleted.

Inspired by the Portuguese reads: Does anyone else want to read That Hair by Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida?
I'd like to read it soon (though not un Portuguese unfortunately).

Hello, mod Anetq, I will check that out. I hope we can buddy-read a choice of mine after we have done That Hair. A deal?

-- oh, I realised I was too late. I checked your date and you wanted the buddying way back in 2024.

Buddy reads are welcome any time!
I have however deleted your plug for the read that you've posted in multiple places - and moved one to the category "Advertisement and Self-Promotion" where those things are welcome.
