Look into the heartstopper franchise if you’re into a really cute yet simple 2SLGBTQ+ recognition books. Theres a bit of sad moments occasionally so im not sure if ur okay with that or not but i’d say check them out either way cause I found myself liking them.

I just read Night Shift by Annie Crown. Super cute and fun read!

Anything by K.M. Shea would be my recommendation, she writes cute and funny fantasy novels with clean romances. All books in the Magiford world of hers are great!

What does it have in it? I read (or tried to read) Check & Mate by the same author, and they couldn't stop talking about sensual and sexual content, not to mention how eight s-words or a discussion of how "sleeping around is okay" might take up an entire page. :-(

Ali Hazelwood was really, really good; the content just bombed and ruined the book :-(

Try I Hope This Doesn't Find You by Ann Liang! I loooooooved it and, despite it not even being a quarter of the way through the year, already think it should win for best YA book ❤️

The Bone Season by S. Shannon—Graceling series by K. Chashore— The Prison Healer series by L. Noni —the Parasol Protectorate series (there’s lots & spin offs lol. Historical steampunk girl power action mystery great characters witty banter awesomeness lol) by G. Carriger — The Atlas Six by O. Blake —An Ember in the Ashes by S. Tahir also her Shatter me series is awesome, but has more fluffy romance lol
