This is the thread for the sections titled “Alexander the Fatherless” and “Alice the Motherless.”
The opening takes us back to the world of King Arthur. King March of Cornwall’s brother, Prince Baudouin, sees a small fleet of marauding Saxon ships putting in to a bay on the Cornish coast and quickly devises a plan to repel them. The writing style is very similar to that used for the Merlin trilogy and The Wicked Day.
I've requested a copy from my library and it's not in yet, so it might be awhile until I start but I've never read this before so really looking forward to it.
