I'm switching between Tokyo and British Columbia. In Tokyo, I'm being bullied in school and my father is suicidal. My diary has washed up on the shores of British Columbia and it's been discovered by an author.

Later today, I'll be sinking my teeth into a new location and new adventure.

[Kristie, Moderator]

I'm in Chicago. I'm a single mom and I work as a nurse in the hospital. A young woman was brought in with a traumatic brain injury after supposedly jumping from a bridge onto the train tracks. I'm about to get much more involved than I should.

I'm also a 22 year old who was brought up living off the grid and I'm about to leave our homestead for college.

I’m a female artist in 17th century Italy. The painting is fun but the patriarchy is a bummer.

I'm in the tudor court. My old Mistress, the True Queen, has died and I suspect that my current Mistress, (who I heartily dislike and who returns that sentiment) may have had a hand in it!

I'm in China. You'd think it was 1790's instead of 1990's, but my village is very backwards and steeped in tradition and superstitions. It doesn't make sense to me.

I am headed to Italy to help my niece and nephew while their father gets remarried. I love being an uncle.

I'm off to my best friend's bachelor party! His fiancé's best friend and I have a history together.

I am in Lake Como, Italy helping my niece and nephew accept their father’s upcoming wedding.

I’m also in a small kingdom in Greece trying to survive gods and seers and my husband.

I am in Ancient Greece where Achilles and Patroclus have just become friends. Helen of Sparta is going to be kidnapped and we will have to go to war.

I am also a German Shepard living with a family back in the 1990s. Uncle Ted is going to visit soon. I used to like him a lot, but now I sense something very wrong with him.

I am still watching brown bears eating salmon at brooks Camp, Alaska.

I am also worried that I am not going to be able to open our family resort on a small barrier island off of Georgia for the summer.

I am in Ancient Greece with Achilles and Patroclus. War is coming.

I am also on Sullivan’s Island in South Carolina hoping that mt grandmother will be okay after her car accident.

I'm also in Greece with Marnie, but she's been there a bit longer than me.

I'm also in China where tea is a bit part of my life growing up and as an adult.

I'm back in Bingtown. It's still one of my favourite destinations complete with pirates, evil regimes and sentient ships!

I'm a guardian ad litem in DC. I'm investigating a case where a nanny plunged to her death and I'm supposed to tell the court which parent the child should now live with, but did someone push the nanny?

I am also still a German Shepard living with a family (my pack) back in the 1990s. Uncle Ted has come to visit and there is definitely something very wrong with him. I don't know how to communicate this to my pack, but I need to protect them.

(I will be here for a while... I need to read another book for the yearly challenge before I finish this one, so I am just creeping along. lol)

I'm in Sparta trying to help my sister Helen but it seems she has other plans.

I'm also in Three Pines where a woman was electrocuted while watching an outdoor curling game. This will be tough to solve because everyone had a motive.

I'm in Syracuse in 450BC trying to stage a Greek tragedy. My cast are POWs, all literally hungry for parts!

I'm on the Titanic. Just before we boarded the ship, a fortune teller told me that I was going to lose everything but my life. Good grief! Such nonsense.

I'm also in Venice where we are preparing for a Halloween Party.

I just came out of the mountains and I believe I am in Montana heading for Canada. I'm on the run with my family trying to get away from a bunch of crazed killers, though our situation seems to keep getting worse. I'm hoping to finally get out of this today.

I'm also German Shepard trying to protect my family from Uncle Ted but now some of them think I'm a dangerous "Bad Dog." They think I might need to be put down. If only they knew what I knew.

I am just in dire straits in both locations right now.

I’m in Virginia preparing for a trial of a man accused of murdering his employers. A lot of racial tension here.

I'm in New Orleans and I've just fallen in love-at-first-sight with a red haired beauty who happens to the cousin of my priest. My aunt was with me and wasn't amused when I rushed over to propose....

I’m in New York defending an accused arsonist.

I need another new location too but haven’t decided yet.

I'm in White Roaring, Ettenia. My tearoom (secret bloodhouse for vampires at night) is going to be shut down. I'm going to sneak into the vampire's Athereum to steal information about our government's leader to try to ruin him before his hatred of vampires ruins me.

(Side note - I had no idea this was going to be a duology when I got the book. It was originally presented as a standalone, so now I'm not sure if I'm actually going to find out how it ends.)

I'm in Florida getting ready to finally join our cruise ship which was out of commission for a year due to the pandemic. I'm the cruise director and SO glad to be back!

My eyes are in Pennsylvania in a small town. I am a summer nanny but things are weird. The child I loo after is drawing strange pictures of a murder..or is he?

My ears are in Seattle am trying to recover from an awful attack on the bridge with goblins. My husband is a werewolf. How do I get into these things?

I'm in between places. I'll be off to the segregated South. I think something is going to happen on our family vacation to Florida.

A witch and a mad scientist parted ways in mysterious ways. I think I might meet up with them in California.

I'm in a Tokyo coffee shop on a YLTO field trip. No hiking for me today LOL

I'm headed down to Hawaii where a volcano is about to erupt.

I may also have time to rejoin my road trip from D.C. to Key West. I am trying to reunite my friend with her one true love by bringing her ashes to Key West before her loved one also passes away.

I'm also back in Three Pines where a séance turned deadly. Who knew you could be scared to death?

I'm in the Yukon in a remote uninhabited area and just found a body. Who is she, where did she come from, and how did she get there?

I'm also in a different fantasy reality, where I got caught relieving a Guild member of a few silver coins. They were going to hang me, but now I'm being dragged to the Wizard's Tree. Either way, my life seems to be forfeit.

I’m NOT in Prince Edward Island yet but an orphan in Nova Scotia.

I am back on my road trip from D.C. to Key West. I hope to get my friend's ashes to their destination either today or tomorrow.

I am also on a plane where a woman has just gone down the aisle telling everyone at what age and by what cause they will die. So morbid.

I'm in Alaska and the great earthquake of 1964 will hit sometime today.

I'm at a very grand house on the coast of England. I feel I am an inadequate replacement for the previous mistress and that everyone is disappointed in me.

I am the Queen of England and Ireland. It is the 16th century and my subjects have a choice; go to mass or be burned at the stake - simples! I wonder why I don't have many friends?

I've returned to my childhood home in England after my husband died. Against my mother's wishes, I took the book out on the lake with my daughter. We discovered a skull. Could it be the remains of my long lost nanny?

I'm also in London where a priest has been brutally murdered after taking the confession of a dying woman. All that was overheard was her saying, "This wickedness has to stop."

I’m in Northern California but I’m heading back East (U.S.) because my ex husband is bringing let out of jail.

I've been all over the place because a woman on a plane told everyone how and when they would die. I've been bouncing between that woman and the other people that were on the plane waiting to see if her predictions start to come true and finding out how she ended up making those predictions to begin with.

I’m a spy in 1940’s London. Just finished my training and got called in on my first mission.

I've just finished a court case, but haven't actually solved the crime yet. I'm heading back to court & New Jersey to conclude my investigation and await the jury's decision.

Once I finish there I am headed on a treasure hunt to solve a mystery with my Nomi's ashes on a small island in the San Juans.

And finally, this evening I will head back to various homes to see how the fortune teller's fortunes pan out.

I'm in Galway, Ireland where my girlfriend stumbled upon a hit and run accident, but it doesn't appear to be an accident, especially since the car backed over her and then drove over her again.

I'm also in Farewell New Mexico where I think they'd like to say farewell to me. They stole my rental car, tried to beat me up, and the deputy arrested me for the murder of the man who stole my car. Once in the police station he worked me over with a night stick.

Oops, I had to fix my typos there. Yes, there is a lot of violence these days in the books I'm reading. I will need something to balance them when I finish.

With tomorrow being a stat holiday, it didn't feel like Sunday today.

I'm in Paris during the occupation. I hate the Nazis but I have to pretend I'm a sympathizer.

I'm also in a fantasy land where the last unicorn has just been captured by a circus.

I’m just getting to Duquette University. It’s been 10 years since I attended and my bff was murdered.
