The doctor called me and told me that there is nothing to see from his field but that I have a few cysts.
When I told him that my pain got worse and that there's still a lot of cracking in that area, he suggested for me to come to his office again. Will go on Friday, let's see if he can find something.

@Kirstie: I hope you enjoyed the wedding.
@Sarah: tha sounds like a good plan. That first year for you went so fast!
@Fiona: In meanwhile, can you take some painkillers? Maybe the cracking comes from your joints? But that could be seen on the scan. I hope you get some anwers Friday.

I hope he finds a way to help you with your pain, Fiona.

I hope you are on the mend. Christine. Sending hugs.

I've been also MIA lately, since I'm in the last days of the semester. My last exam in on the 30th. I'm busy and exhausted. Maybe more exhausted than busy. Although it could be more busy than exhausted. I don't know... I'll be making more sense on May 1st, hopefully!

Good luck, Sandra, you're almost there! After that, treat yourself with some well deserved rest.

Janice, a family book club sounds like a lovely thing to develop. Particularly as we know your Dad would have joined right in. Let us know how it goes. I'm glad everything went well, even if it was a bit draining with all the people.
Hope your hip starts feeling better soon, Fiona.
Good luck to all of you on the home straight for the academic year! I hope all your essays and assignments click, and the exam fairies look upon you nicely :D
Hope your cold has cleared up, Christine.

So far, there are only 3 of us in the group. Once my sister gets home from her cruise in Mexico, she can send out invites to her readers. I don't have the emails addresses.

I think the next hiking trip I will wear bubble wrap!

I hope you get good news from the surgeon and that the damage isn't too bad 😘

Sorry to hear about your hand Jayme but congrats on your anniversary.

My hip situation has been diagnosed, the muscle is pretty f'd up, that's why it hurts and cracks. I've been prescribed with physiotherapy and lots of yoga.

Glad you're home Kirstie and that you had a lovely weekend. Rest up.
Good to hear you have answers Fiona. Sounds much better that you thought.

I hope it works, Fiona!

Bummer... I was so looking forward to spring cleaning my house. 😉
Now to figure out a way to prop up my book.

I hope you're not in too much pain and that you'll find a way to prop up your book. Since the cleaning won't be happening.. maybe use a stack of dirty dishes? haha

Happy birthday, Sarah and it seems you've had a lovely weekend.
@Fiona, will your hip heal with the therapy or will it stay sore?

We've had a little mini heatwave here in the UK, was really lovely down in Bournemouth, but in true British fashion, everyone there was bright red. Thankfully not me.
I went to see a talk by John Gough who wrote Tolkien's autobiography on monday evening. He talked about Tolkien, the mythology he created and the world of LOTR. It was rewlly interesting. My boyfriend is a massive Tolkien fan and knew quite a bit of the stuff but still enjoyed it.
