Care (bkclubcare) | 5 comments I have 9 of the categories filled from my shelves. I know what I read for another and will likely audiobook that title. I know a book with a recipe will be easy to find but I have no idea what to choose for an animal sidekick. How about you? Any strategies? Are you a planner or wing it until crunch time?

Lyndsay Feather | 2 comments Hey everyone! I lived in Wichita for 4 years and LOVED the challenge during that time, it got me back into reading! I’m now living back in my home state of PA, but I’ve been seeing the Read ICT Facebook group blowing up recently and I decided I want to do the challenge again this year. I think the categories this year are excellent! I had a great year of reading in 2023, and I’m excited for 2024.

That's great! The category that has me at a loss right now is the one set in space. I have no idea if anything on my shelf has a component of space travel. I am not worried about it, though. Murderbot has a new one in the series I am eager to read. Have you read Murderbot? It's a lot of fun.

Welcome! It's quite exciting how many non-ICTers are participating this year. Really putting Wichita on the map. LOL

Lyndsay Feather | 2 comments For the category set in space, I would HIGHLY recommend the Red Rising series! Or at least the first book to check the category. I have never been a sci fi person - ever - but these books are so captivating. Like, hunger games meets Star Trek? (I know nothing about Star Trek but that’s what I imagine…)

Excited to try this challenge in amongst my 2024 reading challenge. I’ve picked out a few books to get started.
