No real idea, but it could be font size & margins. & since we have to use Amazon for the kindle page count, sometimes there is an extract from another book included.

Why are the page counts so vastly different between Kindle and print? Most are only a few pages, but recently I came across some authors whose Kindle-paperback count was over 60 pages different for a book that in print was 220. Using my Amazon account I looked at the summary and actually downloaded the Kindle with Unlimited and those numbers were legit. (I've learned not to believe Amazon for so many reasons)Almost a quarter of the book is missing? I understand large print books will obviously have more pages that the regular books (unless of course they made an actually larger book-which I've seen at my local library), but that shouldn't be a factor in Kindle (which theoretically could be much larger without the need for more paper being spent, but I guess storage is a finite resource).
