If I've read one of us is lying, can I start watching the series or do I need to read the other books first?

I want to watch the show so I've read the first book (one of us is lying) but now I'm confused on if I can watch the show on netflix or if I need to read the other 2 books first before watching please help me!!

i would say you can watch the first season, if i remember correctly its based on the plot of the first book only. The second season does not follow the second book at all so i stopped watching after first few episodes
