As I try and adapt without a computer, I finally got a wireless keyboard to try and help me navigate this non-computer world and adapting to an android tablet [which I am extremely grateful for, but hate that it doesn't support GooglePlay so I am without all my favorite things or ways to fully use my favorite things] because I find I really miss being a part of this group, even though I hadn't really been engaging that much [life at home is really tough right now].So I am going to try and catch up here; I will just make a month and then add all I read that month [just title and author and rating] and will try and do that each month until I get a computer or a better tablet that supports GooglePlay.
I hope everyone has been well and that your reading has been spectacular!!

** This one was just so disappointing for me; I am friends with the author on Insta and I have liked/loved all her previous books and this one seemed so different than her other books. ** I CANNOT express enough how amazing this book is. It is currently my 3rd favorite read of the year and absolutely in the top 10 of my favorite nonfiction of all time; it is THAT good. It will boggle your mind, make you bawl your head off and leave you grateful for those who came before us and willingly gave their lives against tryranny, facism, and terror. Absolutely amazing.

** My DNF of this book has absolutely nothing to do with the book and everything to do with me and my OWN experiences in the evangelical church and its damaging patriarchy. IF you are looking to see what life is like for those who have walked away OR are still in it [especially with the rise of "christian" nationalism], this book is spot-on and I highly recommend it.

Welcome back! I'm sorry that you're still dealing with computer woes. I completely understand your frustration about the app functionality vs the web page :/ Can you try using the actual web page on the tablet instead of the app? It's a nightmare on a phone, but it might be less terrible on a tablet.
I have tried to load the web page and it won't load of bumps me to the app. It's been challenging for sure. I'm trying to make time to go to the library to use their computers until I can get my situation worked out.

** My DNF of this book is not because the book is bad. I am sure there are many who have, will, or can enjoy it and I encourage them to read this [the narrator for this book was FANTASTIC]. Unfortunately, this book was WAY above my pay-grade; I realised this while trying to listen [and zoning out] and understand that I was just not getting this at all and wasn't enjoying it because I JUST didn't get it.
