I believe she has a crush on one of the security guys, something happens and she either quits or disappears. She goes back home to her parents strip club and I think they want her to work there. She also has to deal with a sleazy “ex” who works for the strip club as like a manager. Pretty sure the book references SA from him in the past and parents brushed it off. Parents want her to be with him. The MMC (the crush at the security firm) does end up finding her at the strip club and brings her back. I read it about 10-15 years ago.
