Book authors are not displayed correctly

The author of the book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... is Tbilisi Architecture Biennial with contribution of different scholars. I would like to make adjustments so that the books displays correct information.

I can't find it in the manual, but I don't think we enter the name of an organisation if we have the names of the writers.

Someone else may be able to confirm this. It may take a few days as not many volunteer librarians seem to be around - or it may be instant.

Looking at the book, the title appears to be incorrect. Can you give me the title as it appears on the cover?

& does this book have an isbn?

Is the book in English even though it doesn't have an English title. If not, can you tell me what language is used in this book?

the title is correct its janaury february march (without commas), yes the book has isbn

ISBN: 978-9941-8-4450-8

the book is bilingual, English and Georgian.

The author of the book is Tbilisi Architecture Biennial with contributions of scholars.

World cat shows the spine title as იანვარი თებერვალი მარტი

Can you tell me if that is the same as appears on the cover of this book & what it means?

& I have encountered an error in trying to edit this book. It is telling me I'm trying to alter the ASIN when I'm not.

Carol, it could be that the automatic import have added an identifier in the background while you were filling in data. And as your edit page is missing the new ID, it assumes you're trying to delete/edit it.

I've solved it by going to the book page, and then clicking back into to the edit page (but avoid the browser Backward button). Downside is having to manually fill in the changes I wanted a second time :/

it means january february march in Georgian
and yes, it is the same as appears on the cover

Yes, that is how I remember the instructions given by the former Librarian Moderator. It's a bummer that the group search doesn't work so I could find the earlier staff statement.

No! i said that book is bilingual. So it also has english name and you should mention english name not georgian!

i am author of this book and believe me i know better when the book was pulished than someone holding a book in his or her hand. In january 2023, not a single article was written

You are the person I was referring to. I have changed the date to the 15th of May, but this site is very heavily cached & it can take anywhere from 20 minutes to two days for the changes to display.

We have to use the name that is on the cover of the book. Which is იანვარი თებერვალი მარტი

As far as the author name goes, that appears to be the name of an organisation, but while the other volunteer librarian & I (also a volunteer)are fairly sure that isn't allowed, we aren't positive. This information isn't in the Librarians Manual & the search for this group isn't working properly.

So you will have to wait for a staff ruling, sorry.

I'm not staff, but corporate authors are not added if individual authors are known.

Correct. If known, the editor is listed as primary author, with the role noted as "Editor."

I am assuming Otar Nemsadze is the op, so have moved that name up & given him the role of editor.

I could mark the other authors as contributors, but I'd rather wait for a staff ruling.
