Ross Maclean (ross_maclean) | 563 comments ISBN: 978-1-399-72707-5

The last numbered page of the hardback edition of this is the acknowledgements on p387. There are only blank pages after that. Source is the copy in my hands.

Thank you in advance!

Ross Maclean (ross_maclean) | 563 comments Politely bumping this in the hope it can be fixed in time for year-end stats. Thanks in advance.

Bruno Rodrigues | 15139 comments That ISBN doesn't match any of the editions of that book.
Are you sure you don't have a different edition than the ones already in GR?

Ross Maclean (ross_maclean) | 563 comments I’ve got what is, as far as I know, the only physical edition of this book there is: the UK hardback.

Attached photos to show, including a close up of the ISBN:

Bruno Rodrigues | 15139 comments Well, as far as you know...

The hardback edition in GR has a different ISBN, and searching by that ISBN does indeed return hardback edition results, with 400 pages, ect...

Can you confirm the Publisher and Publication Date of your book?

Edit: I created a new edition:

Ross Maclean (ross_maclean) | 563 comments Thanks, Bruno. Your help is much appreciated. The publisher is Coronet, the same as the other one.

Publication details photo here: https://www.goodreads.com/photo/user/...

Weirdly, that lists the other ISBN number so not sure what’s happened there.

Could you please copy the same author details to the new edition as on the original edition:
Garth Marenghi (Pseudonym)
Matthew Holness

Thanks again

Bruno Rodrigues | 15139 comments OK, I made the changes you pointed out.
It may take some time until they are visible.

Well, I don't understand it either.
If it was a typo, then the two hardcover editions wouldn't have different number of pages, as they apparently have. And where would the typo be, in that page or in the cover?
If one of those was some special edition, it would be expected that we would see differences in the cover, but I don't see differences between the cover that is in GR and the one you provided the photo.
Weird...

Ross Maclean (ross_maclean) | 563 comments It’s very strange. But thanks for creating the new edition.

Happy New Year when it comes.
