Thoughts?

Okay, so I feel like I've been reading this book forever and I'm still not even 50% through it. Did anyone else feel like this?

It wasn't until last night that I felt it kinda started getting good. Saint finally locates Ashtyn but idk.... does it get better? I really think I may DNF this book... but that IRKS my soul.

As much as I loved The Ritual, The Sinner, The Sacrifice and Sabotage, I was not able to find that same excitement with Carnage. I wasn't able to get as attached to these characters as I did to those in previous books. I had a hard time liking the MFC. This is the first time I've felt this way with a Shantel book. I hope you were able to enjoy the book in the end but for me, it wasn't the case, unfortunately.
