[solved] trying to add an edition and saying it was deleted

Hello,

I wanted to add to my Read folder the French Mass market paperback edition of Old Fashion Cupcake with Cappuccino from Akata and realised that although they had the Kindle edition in the list of editions, they did not have the paperback edition. So I proceeded to go and add only to be told that a book with that ISBN had been deleted. I ended up creating this edition without adding the ISBN (978-2-38-212-279-2), but I would like to know what happened and if anything can be done so that the ISBN can be added. This book does exist, I have it in front my eyes right now and it is the correct ISBN (once again, I have the book in my hand) and it is different from the ebook version and there should not be another edition with the same ISBN which could cause a problem (and I looked, there is currently no book with that ISBN in the database apart from the one which had been deleted).

When you come across a book that's been deleted that shouldn't be, you click the link in the red box, on the edit page, it takes you to that edition and you make it valid. There is always missing information to add as well.

By adding another edition you've created a duplicate.

Would you like to have a go at making it valid again, its easy but I know some librarians don't like doing so?

I've restored the original edition and deleted the duplicate, thank you for your help.
