This book was no different from the rest Sparks books. And like the rest, the movie was better than the book! For quite a while now, I've lost all my interest in his books. He never brings anything new, nor does he changes or improves his writing style! He's like the Hallmark of novels- hopelessly romantic happily ever afters!
I loved this book :) Finished reading it just now :) Hope to have a wonderful discussion on this book :)
I have read this before a couple years ago, it was ok but I can't say I loved it. I have loved many of the Sparks books so it was a bit of an disapontment.
I read it few months ago and had mixed emotions throughout the read. At some level I did like the book but I think spark's done better then this one.
I felt the movie was better than the book.I agree- he's done better than this. Best of Me is one such. But I get quite bored of his books. He never brings anything new- two strangers fall in love under strange circumstances, separate due to some strange reasons and then get back together after a while. All of them ending happily ever after!
Neither is his writing style very appealing. It's like he never bothers to read his manuscripts twice. Just penning down what comes to his mind without caring for how he does it.
oh, I just decided that I was going to read this book this month and then I found this topic.. it's faith I know it ;)

Exactly...the ending was sad.
