Fixing Book 2 in the series

Susan Gottfried Hey, I'm a librarian but don't have the knowledge to finish fixing my own books. I'd appreciate being walked through the steps so when Book 3 comes out, I know what to do.

I was able to merge Book Two with the series that began with Book One.

But when I click Book Two, it's still showing it's its own series. And that's what I'd like to fix. Is it something that will kick in automatically? Or do I need to do something specific? I'm guessing adding Book One to the series page for Book 2 is all wrong...

Camille Looks like two series were created. I deleted the second series.

When book 3 comes out, follow the steps to add a book to an existing series.

Susan Gottfried Thanks! As you saw, I was able to add 2 to the original series.

And to be clear, if GR adds a new series to Book 3, once I've added it to the OG series, I should delete the new one?

Camille I haven't seen GR automatically create a new series for a book, but if it does, then Yes. Delete the duplicate series and add #3 to the existing series.
