I'm at part II of chapter 12 (oops! I probably should have slowed down, but it's so good I just couldn't) and was starting to think Schwab caught the G.R.R. Martin disease and would kill off Rhy before we really got to know him and fangirl over him, but so far my faith has been restored. I just hope the consequences of saving him won't be too bad...
I feel like a terrible person, because one of my first thoughts when he was dying was: "No, I can't draw fan art of him flirting with a nicely upholstered chair when he's dead!"

Yeah, I remember thinking I didn't really care if Rhy lived or not because I didn't feel any attachment or connection to his character at that point in the story. I'm not sure if Schwab intended for us to feel so detached or not to his character thus far. However, if you do end up drawing fan art of him flirting with a chair, you're going to have to share it with all of us!
